Testimonials

What an honor to write on behalf of Dana Martin Rock. Dana shows a keen interest in creating an environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers to explore, engage and expand their knowledge of the world. Dana’s enthusiasm as a parent of a 2 1/2 year old is contagious. She is dedicated to building a program that supports children’s individual development as well as flexibility in meeting family’s needs when seeking childcare. It most definitely takes a village to raise a child and this is a wonderful place to begin.

I am a personal friend of Dana Rock as well as a local second grade teacher. I completely recommend Dana as a child care provider. Dana is fabulous with children, especially her own daughter, and puts their interests and well being above all else. She is energetic and enthusiastic. Dana will offer the best educational, social, and creative environment for young children at Sweet Peas Child Care.

I have known Mrs. Rock professionally and personally for the past ten years. She exhibits superior knowledge in the aquisition of meeting the developmental needs of children. She creates lessons that are both exploratory and age appropriate that allows for reading readiness. Her kind and caring manner is soothing and she gains an immeasurable amount of credibility and respect with the children and adults alike. I have experienced this first hand with the love she shows her on daughter. She will definitely reach beyond her professional responsibility as a child care provider. Her persistent energy motivates her to pursue excellence in everything she attempts. Dana embodies all that we value in educators and care givers. I strongly recommend her to you.

The moment we stepped into Sweet Peas, we knew we had found the perfect place to care for our little one. Each morning we arrive Dana is there to greet us and immediately says hello and coos at our little one. Our daughter in return gives Dana a huge smile, which speaks volumes about the kind of care she is getting each days and how comfortable she is there. Dana has made it easy and comfortable for us; we couldn’t imagine leaving our daughter with anyone else. Dana is like the super cool, loving aunt that every child would want. Thank you Sweet Peas for taking such good care of our little “Cookie.”

Sweet Peas has been a wonderful fit for our son. Dana is kind and nurturing and took time to bond to help our son adjust to his new time spent in child care. Dana works to ensure her little ones needs are met with indoor and outdoor play time, rest, healthy nourishment and lots of love. She has a calming, caring presence that helps him feel at home away from home.

As with any first time parents, finding the right child care can be an overwhelming task, but with our discovery of Dana with Sweet Peas, our worries have disappeared. Dana provides a warm, loving, educational environment for our 5 month old son, that we couldn’t find anywhere else. She always takes the time to listen to our expectations and answers any questions we have, keeping the communication open and easy.
